I’ve photographed a lot of weddings over the years, and every once in a while, I leave one thinking, I’ve never photographed a wedding quite like that before. This was one of those weddings. Red and black. Cool sunglasses. Cigarettes outside. Tattoos. A little bit edgy, a little bit nostalgic, and completely, unapologetically them. And […]

There is something about Minnesota’s North Shore that makes it an incredible place to get married. The rocky shoreline, towering pines, and endless views of Lake Superior already make it feel like a destination without ever leaving Minnesota. Chris and Lauren’s MN North Shore Wedding at Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors was the perfect […]

Not every wedding day needs a packed timeline, a huge guest list, or twelve hours of events to be meaningful. Sometimes, the best wedding days are the ones that leave a little room to breathe. This intimate micro wedding at Blooming Barrel in Baldwin, Wisconsin was exactly that. Surrounded by just a handful of their […]

There is something incredibly special about a wedding day that strips away all of the “shoulds” and simply focuses on what matters most. This intimate Montana micro wedding was exactly that, a relaxed celebration with their closest people, an Airbnb tucked into the mountains, and an afternoon spent exploring Glacier National Park for their wedding […]

Planning a wedding is exciting…until it suddenly feels like there are a thousand moving pieces and everyone has different advice. Pinterest tells you one thing about wedding planning. TikTok tells you another. Your aunt insists you have to do it “the traditional way.” Before long, you’re wondering whether you were supposed to send invitations six […]

If you’re creating your wedding shot list, you’ve probably found yourself scrolling through Pinterest, TikTok, or Google trying to figure out which photos you have to include. The problem? Many of those lists are written by influencers, not wedding photographers. As a wedding photographer, I can tell you that one of the biggest misconceptions couples have is […]

Some weddings are filled with elaborate timelines, endless activities, and packed schedules. Others remind you what weddings are really about. This particular wedding at this La Crosse wedding venue was extra special. From the moment the day began, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Jennifer and Matthew had a vision for […]

This wedding venue, located in Baldwin Wisconsin, is an absoulte dream to any bride and groom (or wedding photographer!). With how stunning this place is, I’m shocked it’s not the most popular wedding venue in all of Western Wisconsin! Located just south of I-94, it’s easy to get to, a short drive from the Twin […]

There’s something incredibly special about intimate weddings, the kind where the guest list is small, the emotions feel close to the surface, and every moment has room to breathe. This June wedding at Hidden Meadow & Barn was the perfect reflection of that kind of day.

Something I loved about Madisyn and Jack’s wedding was the intention. It was intimate, meaningful, and planned around their wants and needs for the day. Their itinerary was low stress, and they opted for only a few photos with their wedding party. When it came to family portraits, this bride and groom decided to skip the posing and long list and opted instead for candid family photos at cocktail hour. I absolutely loved this mindful decision, as it allowed them to remain stress free and able to go enjoy their cocktail hour with family ASAP.

Every couple I work with gets a fully personalized experience — from the fun questionnaire I send before we ever meet, to the complimentary engagement session we do together before your wedding day. Serving couples across Eau Claire, Baldwin, Hudson, La Crosse, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Duluth, I bring six years of experience and a genuine desire to get to know you, so when your wedding day comes, it feels less like working with a vendor and more like having a friend with a camera.
